Studying on general English Courses
Our General English courses begin every month of the year, and are offered at a range of levels. This means that we can provide a course which is right for your English ability on the dates you wish to study.
You can stay for a short course (as little as two wekks) or for a longer period (up to a full year - and longer). 
These courses will help in all aspects of you general English. With start dates every  month, they offer you the opportunity to study at the time of year which is most convenient to your needs.

You will have the opportunity to meet and study with international students during class and through your individual and group study activities communicating in English with a range af nationalities is an essential part of today's global economy. English is an internatiol language.

Most of these courses take place during the University's academic year (October to June). This means that you will be studying on campus with several thousand British students. Making contact with these students through student Union clubs, sports activities, concerts and social evenings can be an excellent way to make friends and really use your English. We will tell you about all the opportunities avaiable during your stay with us.

All our General English courses help you develop your language in the four major skills, but the lesson focus mostly on improving your listening and speaking skills. The examination classes prepare you for the relevant papers. Class size ranges from 6 to 14 students.
