Lessons per week: 20 lessons Plus 8 additional hours on "Options" 

These courses take place on our wood and parkland campus at Beckett Park. They give you access to the full range of University sports facilities, the library open-Access centre and computing/internet laboratories (with vacation opening times), and offer a special social programme of optional additional activities.
The main Summer Course in General English is open to students at all levels from beginner to advances. Students at any level may also choose the additional option course of - 

English for Travel & Tourism
A course designed for those who wish to use their language skills to travel, or who work within the tourist industry. You will practise using English in a variety of travel situations, and gain confidence in comunicating.

English for Business Purposes
A course for those who need or plan to use their English for general business purposes. You will practise communicating in a range of business situations and context, and will gain confidence in coducting common business tasks such as telephone communication, giving presentations, etc.

English for Academic Purposes
A course for those who need or plan to use their English for further study. You will practise communicating in common academic context, such as listening and notetaking, participating in seminars, and academic writing.
