ABOUT EASM

The European Association for Sport Management (EASM) is an independent association of individuals involved or interested in the management of sport in the broadest sense.

The aims of EASM are to promote, stimulate and encourage studies, research, scholarly writing and professional development in the field of sport management.

The main outputs of the association are :
- the European Sport Management Quarterly, published quarterly, covering a wide range of sport management topics, ensuring proper balance of practical application and theory.

- the Web site with the latest information on the activities of the Association and the general development in the field in Europe.

- the annual Congress, hosted each year in a different European country that offers to scientists and professionals the best opportunity to discuss the basic issues and the latest topics in the field. During the Congress, special attention is paid to the main trends at the European level and to the specific local aspects of the sport culture and industry of the host city and country.
