Zooming and Panning the Viewport
You can set the zoom factor for each viewport. Zooming in or out changes the size of the displayed image. You can also pan the image in the viewport.
Note: Changing the zoom factor is not the same as using the Perspective Zoom tool.
You can change the zoom factor using the Zoom buttons or using the Magnify tool in the Toolbar.
To change the zoom factor:
- Click Zoom Out or Zoom In , as required.
- Show the Toolbar and scrub the Magnify tool , or click the button and then click the viewport (or Alt-click to zoom out). You can also Ctrl-drag a selection box to zoom into an area.
- Click the Magnify tool and choose a percentage from the Zoom Factor list.
- Choose Window | Zoom In, or press Ctrl+ = (Windows) or Command+ = (Macintosh).
- Choose Window | Zoom Out, or press Ctrl+ -(Windows) or Command+ -(Macintosh).
- Choose Window | Fit in Window to fit the Schematic to the viewport.
- Click Home or choose Window | Home to return to a 100% zoomed image. Click Home again to fit the current Schematic to the size of the viewport. Click Home a third time to return to the last-selected zoom factor and pan setting.
- Scrub the Home button.
