Changing View Modes

You can look at any image channel in a viewport using the different view modes. Several view modes show multiple channels simultaneously (such as alpha overlay).

To change the view mode:
  1. Select the viewport, then choose Window | View Mode.
  2. A menu appears containing all the view modes. The current view mode is checked.

  3. Choose the view mode corresponding to the channel you want to see.
  4. The image in the active viewport changes to show the selected channel(s).

Note: These options are also available in the viewport context menu. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts (for example, Ctrl+Shift+8 to see the alpha channel).

For more information, see Using View Modes.
