Setting Monitor Preferences

Use the monitor preferences to configure a multiple-monitor setup and to customize the size of the combustion menus.

To set the monitor preferences:

1. In the Host category, click Monitors.

The Monitor preferences appear.



2. To customize the height allocated in the interface for the panels (such as the Timeline and Workspace panel), enter a value in the Menu Height field.
3. To configure combustion for use with multiple monitors, select the number of monitors from the Monitors list.



The Palette Setup options appear. A button appears next to each option for each of the monitors selected. For example, the following illustration shows the Palette Setup options for a two-monitor setup.



4. For each user interface element listed, enable the button corresponding to the monitor on which you want to place it.
5. To manually adjust the placement of a monitor, select it in the Current list and enter an offset amount in the Left and Top fields.
