Customizing the Interface

When you first start combustion, all the interface elements appear in their default positions. You can choose which to display and customize their positions.

You can also choose to customize the color scheme of the interface. For detailed information, see Setting Interface Color Preferences.

Showing or Hiding Interface Elements

You can show or hide various elements depending on which ones you need for your work.

To show or hide a panel or other element:
  1. Choose Window | Palettes.
  2. Choose the element that you want to show or hide from the menu.

Repositioning Interface Elements

When you first start combustion, the various panels are in their default positions, or docked. You can undock the Toolbar, Workspace panel, Timeline, Audio panel, View LUT panel, Operators panel, and Tracker to place them wherever you like on the screen.

Note: The operator controls panel is always docked.

To undock a panel:
  1. Place the cursor over the tab of the panel.
  2. The cursor changes to a hand.

  3. Do one of the following:
