About Composite Settings

You can specify settings independently for composites and each footage element you import into a workspace.

Normally, you specify composite settings when you create the composite. These settings include resolution, pixel aspect ratio, field interpretation, and so on. However, you can change these settings at any time. For instance, you may be working in a D1-NTSC composite, but decide you want to output your work to Motion Picture 2K resolution instead. To do so, you change the following composite settings.

Pixel Aspect Ratio

Note: Changing the composite settings does not change the individual footage settings. In other words, if you make the composite larger, the footage remains the same size.
