Showing the Schematic View
You can easily show the Schematic view in any of the viewports.
To show the Schematic view:
- If more than one viewport is showing, click the viewport in which you want to display the Schematic view.
- Do any of the following:
- Choose Window | Schematic (F12 or ' which is the ~ key).
- Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Macintosh) in the viewport and choose Schematic.
- Click the Schematic button .
The Schematic view appears in the active viewport.
Note: On some versions of the Macintosh operating system, you may experience function key conflicts. Consult your system documentation, or use the menu options.
To hide the Schematic view:
- Choose Window | Schematic (F12 or ' which is the ~ key).
- Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Macintosh) in the viewport and choose Schematic.
- Click the Schematic button .
- Replace the Schematic view by sending an operator to the viewport. There are several ways to do this. For example, double-click the operator in Workspace panel.
- Replace the Schematic view by showing the Footage Library view.
