Working with Nodes
The Schematic view shows nodes and edges (lines that connect nodes). There are several types of nodes:
- Operator—the most common node.
- Connection—a node representing an input for an operator. In the case of a Composite operator, the visible connection nodes are layers.
- Output—a node representing the Render Queue settings for an operator.
- Group—a node that represents several nodes that have been grouped.
- Dummy—a node that represents a connection not shown in the exclusive view of a group's contents. In other words, a dummy node shows where the real node for the next higher group level is.
