Displaying Footage Information

For Footage operator nodes, you can show the footage details next to the thumbnail. The information is the same as the Footage details area of the Footage Controls panel.

Note: This setting is usually used with the Footage Library view, but you can also use it in the Schematic view.

When the Footage Information option is enabled, the thumbnail is always displayed. The Footage Library view shows footage information by default, so it also shows the thumbnail.

To toggle Footage node information on or off:

1. Select the Footage node(s).
2. Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Macintosh) and choose Toggle Footage Information, or press I.

To display thumbnails for new nodes:

1. Choose File | Preferences, or press Ctrl+; (Windows) or Command+; (Macintosh).
2. In the Footage category, click Library.

The Footage Library preferences appear.

3. Enable Display Thumbnails on New Nodes.



4. Click OK.
