Particle Controls Panel

The controls for the Particles operator are organized into seven categories:

• Library—library of emitters that can be added to the clip.
• Emitter—properties specific to the emitter selected in the library or on the clip.
• Transform—position, rotation, size, and pivot point controls for the selected emitter.
• Particles—properties specific to the particle type selected in the Workspace panel.
• Behavior—basic, variation, and over-life properties specific to the particle type selected in the Workspace panel.
• Shape—library of shapes that can be used for a particle type.
• Settings—motion blur and other global controls for all the emitters on the clip.

Controls Panel for Deflectors

The Particle Controls panel changes for deflectors; it shows only four categories (Library, Deflector, Transform, and Settings). The Deflector and Transform controls apply to the selected deflector.
