Moving Objects

You can move geometry, text, and selection objects by dragging them to a new position.

To move an object:

1. Select the object.

The selection is surrounded by a bounding box with size and rotation handles.

2. Position the cursor anywhere inside the object, and then click and drag.



Note: In the Transform controls, you can also enter precise position values in the X and Y Position fields.



3. Click the R button above the Position fields to reset the changes and move the object to its original position in the viewport.
