Remove Selection

When a Remove Selection object is added, it prevents the active selection from affecting any objects above it in the Timeline. For example, the Remove Selection object is added automatically when you paste the contents of a selection to prevent the copied selection from affecting it.

You can also manually add a Remove Selection object to deactivate selections in the Timeline. To add a Remove Selection object, select either the Lasso, Rectangular, or Elliptical Selection drawing tool and click in the viewport.
