Using Source and Result

Use the Source and Result swatches to see the result of the LUT on a specific color selected from the viewport.

To compare source and result:

1. In the LUT Editor panel, click the Source Pick tool.
2. In the viewport, select a color in the range you are adjusting.

The Source swatch shows the color. As you change the LUT (using the fields or the graph), the Result swatch updates with the converted color.

Differences with Bit Depth Converter

If you use the LUT Editor with the Bit Depth Converter, you can use these extra features:

• Store—You can store five different LUT settings.
• Compare—You can use the standard Compare tool to compare with other operators, or the Storage settings.



Note: These features are not available with the Footage operator.
