Global Keyer Controls
The following elements appear with all the Keyer controls.
Discreet Keyer Controls
The buttons on the left of the Keyer give you access to the different sets of controls in the Keyer. When you click a button, the corresponding controls appear.
Reset Buttons
There are two reset buttons in each Keyer control.
ResetResets the current Keyer controls to their default settings. For example, if you are working on the Curves controls and you click Reset, only the Curves controls are reset to their default value.
Reset AllResets all the Keyer controls to their default settings. For example, if you are working on the Curves controls and you click Reset All, all the settings in the Key, Matte, Curves, Color, and Setup controls are reset to their default values.
Note: Only the current Store is affected.

StoreEnable Store to save the current settings of all Keyer controls in the current store number.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5Each store contains saved settings. Click between store buttons to view the different settings. A dot in the lower right corner of the store button indicates that it contains saved information.
For more information, see Storing Operator Settings.
Output Options
Use the Output options to switch between different views of your key. For example, click Matte to display the keyed matte in the current viewport. The output determines what appears in the composite, so make sure you click Result when you are satisfied with the key.
FrontDisplays the image to which you applied the key. This is the layer you are keying with any operators you applied to that layer before the Keyer.
Note: If the front layer is not the one you expect, you probably applied the key to the wrong layer. In the Workspace panel, copy and paste the Keyer operator to the correct layer. For more information, see Copying or Moving Operators.
Key InDisplays the image that is used to pull a key. By default, the front and key-in images are the same. In some cases, you pull a key on a different key-in image, and apply the resulting matte to the front layer. You may also want to see the key-in image if you apply a key-in blur before pulling the matte.
BackDisplays the background image that is revealed when the front is keyed. By default, this is the entire composite under the front layer.
MatteDisplays the alpha channel created by the Keyer.
ResultDisplays the result of your key. In viewports set to display the Keyer, you will see the front image keyed over black. In viewports set to display the composite, you will see the front image composited over the background.
CompDisplays the front image keyed over a solid background. You can change the color of the background in the Setup controls.
