Tonal Ranges

Tonal ranges isolate portions of the image for correction by defining them as Shadows, Midtones, or Highlights.

Master

Makes adjustments uniformly across the image.

Shadows

Applies changes or corrections to the darkest parts of the image.

Midtones

Applies changes or corrections to the midtones of the image.

Highlights

Applies changes or corrections to the lightest parts of the image.

Note: You can alter the definition of what is considered a shadow, midtone, or highlight through the Ranges controls. See Ranges Controls.

Reset

Returns the image to its original state before you entered that particular set of controls. Reset is distinct from Undo, which only removes the most recent operation(s). It is also distinct from Reset All, which resets the properties on all the Color Corrector controls.
