Curves Controls
Use the Curves controls to make non-linear changes to the color. Adjust the curve to remap the colors in your image. The horizontal axis represents the original color value. The vertical axis is the value to which it is mapped.
In the following example, the red channel is remapped so that a pixel with a value of 64 is remapped to 128. As a result the image is "more" red.
You can display the curves in either RGB or HLS color space.
To adjust the curve:
- To toggle the visibility of a curve, click the yellow box next to the label.
- To add a point to the curve, click on the line.
- To adjust the slope of the curve, click a point to display a handle, and then drag the handle.
- To reset only the curve that you are working on, click Reset Selected.
- To reset all the curves, click Reset.
- To delete a point on the curve, select it and click Delete.
- To adjust the curves so that the Source and Back colors in the color patches match, click Match All. See Color Sampling.
