Using Ambient Light

You can use ambient light to "wash out" or completely darken the composite. Before adding source lights to a composite, you should adjust the color and intensity of the ambient light. However, you can change these settings at any time.

You can also keyframe the ambient light properties to create realistic lighting effects. For information, see Creating Animations.

Note: If you cannot see the lighting in a composite, make sure the Shading option in the Settings controls is enabled.
