There are several features to simplify the setup of rendering jobs. Use Quick Setup to pre-define the path and name for the rendered files. In conjunction with presets, you can automatically apply a set of output options to all enabled outputs in the queue.

To use quick setup:
  1. Click Quick Setup.
  2. The Render Queue Quick Setup dialog appears.

  3. To apply a preset, enable Use Preset and select a preset from the list.
  4. To specify a default path and filename for the rendered files, set the following options as required.

    Select:
    To:

    Render Folder

Set the default location for rendered files. Enter a path in the field, or click Render Folder and browse to the appropriate location in the dialog that appears.

    Automatic Output Names

Automatically generate output names based on the operator name and plus "+" signs to indicate output names. For example, if you have an operator named "Sky" and three outputs, it will create the following files: "Sky", "Sky+" and "Sky++".

    Create New Folder per Workspace

Create a folder with the same name as the workspace file. The outputs will be saved to this folder.

  5. Click OK.
  6. The Quick Setup options are applied to all enabled outputs.

Note: To prevent an output from being affected by Quick Setup, you must turn it off before beginning this procedure.
