Scheduling When to Render

You can schedule when the enabled outputs in the current workspace should be rendered. For example, you can schedule the rendering to start when you are not at the computer.

If you want to batch render several workspaces, use the same feature in the stand-alone Render Queue application. See Scheduling the Rendering Jobs.

To schedule rendering:
  1. Click Preferences in the Render Queue dialog.
  2. Enable Use Timer.
  3. The Scheduling options appear.

  4. Enter the hour and minute at which rendering will begin in the Start Render Time field and select either AM or PM from the list.
  5. Enter the date on which rendering will begin in the Start Render Date field.
  6. Set up the required operators and outputs in the queue.
  7. Click Process.
  8. The status message changes to "Waiting for Scheduled Start Time". Rendering begins at the scheduled day and time.

Warning: You must leave the Render Queue dialog open to use this feature.
