Compositing Rich Pixel Renderings

Once you create a rich pixel rendering and import it into combustion, you can use it in composites as a layer. This section describes Z Depth transforms, shadows, and camera matching—effects you can create without using 3D Post filters. 3D Post filters are described in Using 3D Post Filters in combustion.

The following table lists the G-Buffer channels used for Z Depth compositing, shadows, and camera matching. To use these compositing effects, make sure you save these channels when you render the rich pixel file.
