  Introduction

In 1928 a royal decree joined four different towns, Trebbiano, Pizzocorno, San Ponzo and Cecima in an only commune call Ponte Nizza.  After the second World War Cecima become an independent commune instead the other tows become hamlet of Ponte Nizza.

This section is dedicated to the hamlet of Ponte Nizza, to their origin and to their history.

                                               

 
 
  Sant’Alberto abbey

Pizzocorno is an hamlet of Ponte Nizza and is located on a mount at 478 meters s.l.m. near the street to Sant’Alberto.
Trebbiano Three kilometers far from Ponte Nizza there is Trebbiano. This hamlet is near the street to Nizza Valley.
Sant'Alberto On an isolated mount near Begna stream there is the remains of the old Sant'Alberto abbey.
San Ponzo S. Ponzo arose near a church. Ottone I gave S. Ponzo and Cecima to the bishop of Pavia in 957.
