The school also offers its students opportunities to take part in exciting and unusual field trips, for

 example: spend a day at sea with local fishermen, learn traditional folk dances, learn the art of wine and typical cooking-tasting, discover the countryside with organized hikes or the beautiful coast with boat-trips, even go to work with archaeologists in the several archaeological sites of Salento.

Every summer the town of Otranto organizes festivals and cultural events: theatre, cinema, music, traditional folk dancing.
