In the north of Sardinia there are two important airports: Olbia (north-east - national and international flights) und Alghero (north-west - national and international flights).
The most important companies are: Ryanair (Alghero), Alitalia (Olbia), Air One (Alghero), Lufthansa, Meridiana and Aerolloyd. Alternatively you can fly to Milan and Rome and take Air One, Alitalia or Meridiana to come to Sardinia.
Ryanair - The Low Fares Airline - offers very cheap flights to Alghero from London (Stansted), from Frankfurt (Hahn) and from Barcelona.
In general you will join Sardinia by boat at the following ports: Porto Torres (Northwest), Santa Teresa (North), Palau (North, nearby Santa Teresa), Golfo Aranci (Northeast, nearby Olbia), Olbia (Northeast).
