Sorso, wich is set on a gentle hill is the main town of Romangia. It is a large agricultural area situated within a circle of olives groves and vineyards; the zone produces vinrages wines which is used to be bottled in a co-operative store hat has only recently closed. Fruit and horticultural produts, artichokes, are particulary important. The population is approximately 12.000 inhabitants.
