In Sorso popular traditions and handicrafts are kept alive thanks especially to the older
generations that pass them on the younger people of the village. Sorso participates
in the Sardinia Cavalcade wearing their particulary rich traditional
costume. Bread and sweetmeat are
still home made for the village feasts. Weaving, basket-making and embroidery are widely practised. The fountain of
Billellera and the church of Noli me
tollere, associated with ancient legends, are very symbolic place for the population.
