REGISTRATION TO NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE

A foreign citizen must  be registered  with the National Health Service addressing to the listed below.

Caltanissetta :

Via Angeli - Tel. 0934 506431- open  from Monday to Friday - 9,30 - 13,30.  During Tuesday  and Thursday  it’s open from 15,30 to 17,00, too.

San Cataldo :

The Service relased a document, “The Sanitary Card” , necessary to obtain  any health service.

The Sanitary Card indicates  the family doctor selected.

Babies 0-14 years old can have a pediatrician.

The service to indicate of both the family doctors and the pediatrician are free.

  Necessary documents to registration to National Health Service

All citizens  with a temporary residence permit  for adoption, fosterage:

¨      Temporary residence permit

¨      Law court decree

¨      Autocertificate of residence

All citizens with a temporary residence permit for family reasons:

¨      Temporary  residence permit

¨      Autocertificate of residence

All citizens with a valid  Temporary residence permit and a legal job, or unemployed:

¨      Temporary permit

¨      Autocertificate of residence

All citizens with a regular  Temporary residence permit not in possession of previous requirements, for her family too, (exclusive of who have a temporary residence permit for turism or health)

¨      Temporary residence  permit

¨      Autocertificate of residence

¨      Requeset for a voluntary assurance –

¨      A annual contribute  deposit for students (not for other member family)

¨      A annual contribute  deposit for au pair (not for other member family)

Our A.S.S. n. 2 assures Health Service without Sanitary Card to the Temporary  Present foreigner or irregular foreigner, too.

It have organized a special Service for the irregular extra - European Community citizens and for Temporary  Present foreign. In this case is necessary  that our operators issue a code called  STP, to identificate the Temporary Present or irregular foreigner.

 So the irregular or Temporary Present foreign can have the medical assistance for the urgent and medical  needs and in case of severe accidents or conditions (whenever his/her life is in danger).

Our sanitary operators don’t must inform against the irregular citizen temporary Present  in our country that  needs of medical care.

In order to obtain the  medical care for the urgent and essential and medical  needs and in case of severe accidents or conditions (code STP) in consideration that you are a Temporary  present foreigner or irregular foreigner you have to go to the  Front Office Services  indicated below:
