GME is an engineering company leader in the construction of electronic appliances in European Home Systems and Echelon technology in Italy. We offer home automation products: hardware and software. One of the early barriers in home automation was wiring all the appliances, controllers and sensors together. One communication medium defined by the EHS specification is power line communication, 2400 baud data transmission. Our Power Line Modem can send and receive data over the mains power line, without running other wires. The software enables the transmission with other modems or EHS compatible devices like intelligent plugs, dimmable lamps, intelligent washing machines, measure temperature, energy management... for automate any devices. INTELLIGENT INTERFACE FOR POWER LINE COMMUNICATION The GME Power Line Modems are low cost devices designed to upgrade an existing home appliance to an intelligent home appliance. The intelligent home appliance will be able to communicate using the reliable power line medium conformant to the European Home Systems specification. Thus no external data cabling is necessary. Thanks to the EHS plug & play mechanism the appliance will be connected and disconnected by the user at any time.
