Panoramic view from Monte Longu

As described above, you can enjoy a great view from the top of Monte Longu among sea, hills and mountains. This mount overviews all the surrounding area. Sometimes, some athletics and sportsmen get there with delta planes.

The pictures’ serial starts with a panoramic view of 360°, taken from the very western side of the Monte Longu top (dimension: 1,3 Mbytes, with a traditional modem of 56K you will need 4'30'' to download, but it is worth!) in the very left, the northern beach followed by the top of same mount. In the lower part beside the two beaches, stands La Caletta. The below pictures are those which allowed to make the view.

Satellite views

Here below are proposed some satellite views which point out the big extension of southern and northern beaches (four kilometres each).  As you can notice La Caletta is sited between these two beaches whereas the “Tower beach" is a kind of annex of the northern one. The pictures in the right show the actual location of the flats respect to the surrounding place..

The night walk

You will be able to have a fresh night walk in the main road (part closed to the traffic) where it is possible to buy, from courageous salesmen and vendors open till late, every kind of products included those typical ones such as the famous "torrone di Tonara" (nougat) commercialised all over the world!

Also in the surrounding area, there is a concentration of various shops: bookshops, newsagent, wine shop, stationery, pizzerias, bars, jewelleries, photography, food shops, hotels, typical products and toys are part of a complete commercial complex.
