Changing Schematic Flow Direction

There are four settings for the flow direction of the Schematic view:

• Flow Left
• Flow Right (default)
• Flow Up
• Flow Down

The connection points on the nodes move to accommodate the flow direction. For example, if the flow direction is Flow Right, the input connection points are on the left side of each node and the output connection points are on the right. If the flow direction is Flow Up, the input points are on the bottom of each node and the output points are on the top.

To change the flow direction of the Schematic:

Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Macintosh) in the Schematic view, choose Flow Direction and then choose a flow direction, or press the corresponding hot key:

• For Flow Left, press Shift+Left Arrow.
• For Flow Right, press Shift+Right Arrow.
• For Flow Up, press Shift+Up Arrow.
• For Flow Down, press Shift+Down Arrow.

The connection points are changed and the nodes are automatically arranged.
