Playback Controls

To create an animation and preview your work, you need to navigate between frames in your clip. Use the playback controls to move forward and backward between frames and to set playback in and out points. The playback controls are similar to controls on a VTR.

The following playback controls are available:

Click:	To:
	Move back to the first frame of the clip.
	Move back one frame.
	Play the clip backward.
	Play the clip.
	Move ahead to the next frame.
	Move ahead to the last frame of the clip.
	Go back to the previous keyframe.
	Go ahead to the next keyframe.

Note: The previous/next keyframe buttons only work on motion path keyframes, not other properties.

• Click or or to toggle between Play Once, Ping Pong, and Loop Play mode.
• Enter a value in the Current Frame field to move to a specific frame in the animation.
• Use the scrub bar to scrub through (preview) the animation or move to a specific frame.
• Use to view the total duration of the animation.
