Timeline Controls

Use the controls on the right of the Timeline to control the Timeline view and to edit keyframes.

Graph

Sets Timeline view to Graph mode. See Graph Mode.

Overview

Sets Timeline view to Overview mode. See Overview Mode.

Context

Enables or disables context view. When enabled, selected layer or object categories are automatically expanded in the Timeline list. Use this to display the graph(s) of the channels you are editing without having to navigate to the categories and channels.

Auto Scale

Automatically sizes channels to fit in the Timeline view.

Waveform

Displays audio waveforms for imported audio in the Timeline. For more information on using audio, see Audio.

Zoom In

Zooms in by a factor of two.

Zoom Out

Zooms out by a factor of two.

Frame All

Resizes the entire project so it fits into the Timeline view.

Add Key

Adds a keyframe to the selected channel at the current time.

Reset Tngts

Resets tangents for selected keyframe(s).

Interpolation

Select an option to set the interpolation mode for selected channels or keyframes. For more information, see Setting an Interpolation Method.

Extrapolation Before and After

Select an option to define the shape of the Timeline animation curve before and after the first and last keyframes. For more information, see Adjusting Interpolation with Bezier Handles.

Math Operations

Displays the Math Operations dialog. Use this dialog to add effects such as jitter, random noise, and scaling to keyframes. For more information, see Math Operations.
