Tool Options

The tool options appear at the bottom of the Toolbar for the current tool. Each tool has its own set of options.

For tools used to create both filled and stroked objects, there are two different sets of options.

In some cases, when you select an option, the tool options are updated to display additional options. For example, if you select Fixed from the Mode list, width and height text boxes appear.

The following table lists the options for all the Paint tools.

Stroked Freehand Tool	Pen Pressure (Size, Draw Mode, Color, Opacity). Make Curves.
Filled Freehand Tool	Make Curves.
Line Tool	None.
Stroked Rectangle Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Filled Rectangle Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Stroked Ellipse Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Filled Ellipse Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Stroked Polygon Tool	None.
Filled Polygon Tool	None.
Text Tool	Font, Size, Character and Line Direction, and Alignment.
Lasso	Make Curves.
Magic Wand	Tolerance.
Rectangular Selection Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Elliptical Selection Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Polygon Selection Tool	None.
Text Selection Tool	Insert Number and Timecode
Eraser	Erase to: (Background, Transparent, Revert), Pen Pressure (Size, Opacity).
Flood Fill Tool	Tolerance.
Color Picker	Area Sample.
Magnify	Zoom Factor.
Grab	None.
Arrow	Object, Control Points, Pivot Point, Gradient.
Freehand Mask Tool	Make Curves.
Rectangular Mask Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Elliptical Mask Tool	Mode (Normal, Constrained, or Fixed).
Polygon Mask Tool	None.
