Text Outline Controls

Use the Outline attribute to create and edit text outlines. You can adjust the color, thickness, softness, and opacity of the outline. As with the Face attributes, the Solid, Texture, and Gradient source options can be applied to Text object outlines.

Color

Sets the color of the text outline.

Opacity

Sets the opacity of the text outline. The Opacity setting applies to the Solid, Gradient and Texture Outline options.

Softness

Sets the softness of the text outline. The Softness setting applies to the Solid, Gradient and Texture Outline options.

Size

Sets the thickness of the text outline edge.

Drawing Priority

Determines whether the outline is drawn above the text characters or below the text characters.

Solid

Uses a solid color for the outline.

Gradient

Uses a color gradient color for the outline.

Texture

Uses an image or operator from the workspace as a texture for the outline. You can also import an image from disk.
