Creating a Text Outline

Use the Outline attributes to create and edit the outline of a text object.

To create a text outline:

1. Select the text object.
2. In the Text Controls panel (F8), click Attributes.
3. Click Outline.



4. Click the small gray box on the Outline button, or double-click the Outline button, to enable Outline. When enabled, the small box is highlighted yellow.

By default, a white outline that is one point wide is added to the text object. The Outline controls are displayed.

Note: To display only the outline, disable Face.
