Creating Text on a Path

You can make an existing text object follow a simple path or circle.

To create a text on a path:

1. Select the text object.
2. In the Toolbar (F3), click the Text tool .
3. In the Text Controls panel (F8), click Text.
4. Click Advanced.



5. In the Path Options, select a path type from the Type list.
• If you selected Path, the text string appears on a line.



By default, the line contains 3 controls points.

• If you selected Loop, the text string appears on a loop.



By default, the loop path contains 4 control points.
