Scaling Text

You can scale characters or text blocks.

To edit the proportions of a text block:

1. On the Toolbar, click the Arrow tool .
2. Click anywhere on the text.

The text block is highlighted with scale and rotation handles.

3. To scale a single character, Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Macintosh) the letter.
4. Click and drag the handles to scale the text block.
   
   

   Drag:	To:
   Center handles	Change the width.
   Top and bottom handles	Change the height.
   Corner handles	Change the width and height simultaneously. Press Shift and drag to change the scale while maintaining the proportions of the text. Press Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Macintosh) and drag to scale around the pivot point. Press Ctrl+Shift (Windows) or Command (Macintosh) and drag to scale around the pivot point while maintaining the proportions of the text.
