Applying 3D Post Filters

In Composite and Paint operators, you can apply 3D Post filters to any layer of a rich pixel rendering. Unlike other kinds of filters, you cannot apply 3D Post filters to grouped layers or to entire composites. Each filter modifies only one layer.

To apply a 3D Post filter to a rich pixel rendering:
  1. Import an RPF or RLA file into a Composite operator, or open the file in a Paint operator.
  2. Select the layer you want to filter.
  3. From the Operators menu in a composite, or from the Effects menu in Paint, choose 3D Post, and then choose a filter from the menu that appears.
  4. Note: Only RPF files support the RPF Motion Blur and Texture Map filters.
