He died at Busbridge Hall Nursing Home in Surrey of pneumonia

Take place the St.John the Baptist Busbridge Church 

hundreds of friends and fans  came to pay their respects, 

the bemused organist played the theme tune to one of 

his film "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines"

On his coffin rested a silk nepheu Ben Meyers with his trademarks 

- a monocle, cigarette holder and fresh red carnation.

He was cremated at Guildford Crematorium and his ashes still await a burial.

 

A Bronze Bust fo actor Terry-Thomas by highly-praised Jamaican artist Ronal Moody 

was handed over yesterday to raise funds for the fight aganist Parkinson's Disease. 

Terry died last month after a long battle aganists the disease and the artist's niece 

Miss Cynthia Moody decided to offer the work to the Parkinson's Disease Society. 

It  is expected to raise thousands of pounds when it is auctioned later this year. 

Ronald Moody's wife Helene was personal assistant to the famous gap-toother Englishman 

for 15 years.  

And the work is a rare friend's portrait made in 1953 of Terry without his smile.

 Miss Moody retired film editor, said 

"I felt very strongly there was nothing better that could be done with the bronze. 

I knew Terry through Ron and Helene over a period. 

He was great fun".
