NANà

   Nanã, of Jeje origin, is Omolu's and Oxumare's mother;
she is the oldest among the female orixás and therefore very respected.
She is related to mud, ponds and quagmire and, like them, she is slow, wise and calm.
Nanã dances with the dignity of an old woman, keeping in her hands her symbol, the  ibirî.
