XANGÔ
Xangô, hot tempered and impulsive, is the orixá of thunder and justice.
While dancing he expresses the majesty and dignity of a king (he was king of Oyó), he waves the oxé, a two-edged hatchet, and makes the gesture of throwing the stones of thunder on the floor.
He protects judges, lawyers and those related to justice; he is proud, authoritative and liberal.
