Continuing
the family traditions
linked both to working the land
and to the village of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, I bought a farm-house
with some land in 1986.
A spirit of enterprise combined
with the natural vocation of this land
for the cultivation of vines
and olives provided the basic incentive
to overcome difficult moments.
As soon as I had bought the land
I made the necessary improvements
so as to transform the property
into a farming estate devoted
principally to viticulture.
I kept the farm's original name Uccelliera. At
the same time as the vines, olive-trees were also planted by design all around
the building in order to keep the characteristic landscape unchanged.
