We crossed
Messina strait by ferry. what a surprise!! Even the train crossed the strait
by ferry! It took only 20 min. or so to cross. We filled the petrol tank
and then started driving toward Alberobello!! |

I have been Alberobello, a long time ago (when I was 4 years old), in those days, there was no tourists (even Japanese!) at all (This is what I have heard). These days, since this town have come to be a cultual heritage of UNESCO, there are so MANY tourists coming over. If you are Japanese, dont worry, there are signs everywhere in Japanese, and any local souvenir shop people would welcome you, saying "Irasshaimase! (Welcome)" |  |
