Palermo

We arrived at Palermo port early in the morning. We had some fresh bread which was soooo delicious!! We visited the Catacombs but photos are not allowed. (right)

What I liked in Palermo is the back streets of the city. There are always a lot of children and hanging cloths.

We visited one of the old churches, called San Giovanni degli Eremiti. It is like half Arab half Roman charch, I liked its red dome.

Old city - Quattro Canti Traffic jams are everywhere - here in Palermo is not exception. And the polizia (Municipare) is the same (right picture). But I have never seen such a tall man in Padova !

Porta Nuova - We just past through by bus. The shape is much more like Arab - so we at least have seen something different from Nothern part of Italy!!
