Può il teatro rappresentare la vita in tutti i suoi aspetti, anche quelli più
nascosti, o la vita nelle sue multiformi sembianze è così impalpabile che
rifugge da ogni tipo di classificazione? Oppure della vita è possibile affidare
al teatro solo sparute parvenze, solo alcuni meccanismi consolidati?
In questo spettacolo si intende giocare tra realtà e palcoscenico,
confrontandosi con uno dei capolavori teatrali più amati e conosciuti, nel quale
l’autore mette in scena, in modo impeccabile, tutti i meccanismi del potere.
Una disastrata compagnia di provincia sta mettendo in scena il Riccardo III, con
pochi attori e senza una attrice. Allo spettatore vengono mostrati i
preparativi, le prove, lo scambio dei ruoli, le simpatie e le antipatie tra gli
attori, i calcolati escamotages che a turno ognuno conduce per sopraffare il
compagno di scena. Per incanto la vita e la finzione shakespeariana si
intersecano ed il teatro diventa veramente, attraverso l’ironia spruzzata da
lampi di humor nero, lo specchio deformato della vita.
Il Teatro Città Murata continua la sua collaborazione con Bruno Stori, a cui si
è aggiunta la geniale ironia del drammaturgo ungherese Gyula Molnar. Gioco
beffardo del teatro nel teatro, analisi delle dinamiche relazionali che si
instaurano tra gli uomini, lo spettacolo entra direttamente nei meandri più
intimi del Riccardo III per restituircene intatto tutto il suo grande fascino.
Can theatre represent life in all its aspects,
even the most hidden ones, or life in its multiform disguises is so impalpable
that it shuns from any kind of classification? Or can the theatre only give
traces of some consolidated mechanisms?
This show wants to play between reality and theatre scene, confronting itself
with one of the most appreciated theatre masterpieces, in which the author puts
on scene all power’s mechanisms.
A poor provincial company is putting on scene Richard III, with few actors and
no actresses. The spectator sees the preparations, the rehearsals, the exchange
of roles, the sympathies and antipathies among the actors, the subterfuges that
all use to overcome the fellow mate of scene. By magic Shakespearian fiction and
life intermingle and theatre becomes really, through irony with some black
humour, the deformed mirror of life.
The Theatro Citta murata continues its cooperation with Bruno Stori to which has
been added the genial irony of the drama writer Hungarian Gyula Molnar. A
scornful game of theatre inside theatre, analysis of the dynamic relations that
are installed among men, the show enters directly in the most intimate meanders
of Richard III to give back its great charm intact.
